Fresh Programming for the New Year at The Key

With a fresh new year upon us, we at The Key are rolling out some fresh new changes!

First, over 100 brand new, inspirational, soul-stirring songs have been added to our playlist.

Second, our popular sermon series, The Voice, with Dr. Jack Hyles, which airs every weekday at midnight, will now also be airing during the day on Saturdays at 3 p.m.

Third, Greatly Commissioned, hosted by Danny Mendez and Dr. Tom Vogel–our Sunday after-church program that shares interesting stories from Hyles-Anderson College–will also be repeated on Fridays at 4:30 p.m.

Tune in for these programs and more powerful, positive radio in 2012.

Thom Kimmel Taking Much-Deserved Rest

Financial Solutions with Thom Kimmel, aired on Mondays at 1:00 p.m., will not be airing for the indefinite future, as Thom is taking a break from his radio show due to recent health problems. He has asked that we save his spot on Mondays at 1 p.m., because he is anxious to get back on the air soon to give his helpful, biblical perspective on issues concerning personal finances. And save his spot we are glad to do.

As soon as we get the word from Thom that he’ll be back on the air, we will let you know so you can tune in again every Monday.

God bless you, Thom. Get well soon. We miss you already on The Key!

It is exciting to see such a positive response from the community and to see 90.5, The Key, continue to grow.

Share-a-Thon Time is here, and 90.5, The Key, is looking for 100 listeners to give $30 a month.

Would you be one of the 100? Share-a-thon starts this Wednesday morning bright and early at 6 a.m., and we are asking you to pray about being one of the
100 listeners to give $30 a month to help us reach our goal of raising $36,000 during our fall share-a-thon. Will you help us reach our goal?

Everyone who gives $100 or more during our two-day share-a-thon will get a
first-of-its-kind 90.5, The Key, T-shirt!

Everyone who gives $500 or more during the share-a-thon will get a classy
also first-of-its-kind polo shirt with the 90.5, The Key, embroidered on the top left.

The 2011 fall share-a-thon is on Wednesday and Thursday, November 2 and 3, and is scheduled to go from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days. We hope you will pray and tune in as much as possible. We are very excited about what God has in store for us on these two exciting days!

The Fall Share-a-thon is the time when we need to raise our budget for the
next fiscal year, so it is very important that we have a successful two
days on November 2 and 3.

We need your help in three ways:

First, please pray. It is very important that our faithful listeners of The
Key, take time to pray that God blesses our share-a-thon in a great way.

Second, ask God what He would have you to give. Whether your gift is large
or small, it is vital in keeping 90.5, The Key, on the air all year long,
reaching the lost for Christ.

Third, tell your friends. Tell your friends about 90.5, The Key, and tell
your friends about our Fall Share-a-Thon coming up very soon.
