Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, understanding the profound importance of the land of Israel to believers. In Psalms 122:6, You have exhorted us: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." With this in mind, we earnestly lift up the current situation in the Gaza Strip, praying for the safety and peace of Your chosen people in Israel and Gaza.
Lord, we are reminded that our struggles in this world are profound and spiritual. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." We humbly ask that You bring clarity and light to the dark corners of Gaza, leading to peace and relief for all the innocent souls embroiled in this conflict.
Father, in Your Word, Proverbs 21:15, it is said, "It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity." May You rise against the wickedness that stirs strife and pain, and let Your justice and righteousness prevail in this region.
We beseech You to give wisdom to the leaders, both in Israel and Gaza, that they might make decisions rooted in peace and understanding. We lean on Your promise from Proverbs 2:6, "For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."
Guard the innocent, comfort those in sorrow, and heal the wounded, Father. Let the Evil be stomped out and Your enduring peace manifest in the hearts and lands where it is needed most. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.
